Here’s the problem I'm seeing with some of my members.

I spent so much time trying to “fix” myself, trying to be okay in my skin, trying to live without constantly feeling like I was failing God.
I was journaling, reading, searching, pushing… and still feeling like I was one mistake away from being dragged on social media. YIKES!
And somewhere in all of it, I had to face a very real question:
Can I live in this body, with real desires, as a real woman… and still belong to God?
Can I love Jesus deeply… and still be feminine, expressive, radiant, and yes even sexy?
Can I be holy without hating myself?
And the answer through the gentle, fierce love of Jesus was ABSOLUTELY!
I had to break up with mindsets that felt “safe” but were actually suffocating:
the belief that my body is a problem
the belief that my past cancels my future
the belief that rules can replace discernment
the belief that sexiness and spirituality can’t coexist
the belief that “being saved” means always putting myself last
the belief that the gospel is black and white instead of liberating love
And one day, I realized I wasn’t her anymore.
I was finally willing to do the hard things now and choose the path God has me on.
Even if it looks crazy.
Even if it looks slower.
Even if I can’t neatly explain it to people who only honor what they can categorize.
And so now I'm walking in freedom.
And that freedom?
That’s what I want for you.
Because I don’t mean “free” like a cute quote on a mug from the Christian bookstore.
I mean free like it changed my decisions.
I resigned from my traditional pastoral job and stepped into the ministry God laid on my heart on purpose.
Not because it was the easiest route.
Not because it was the safest route.
But because once you stop living for approval, you start living for assignment.
And now? I’m serving hundreds of women weekly. I’m watching women exhale in real time. I’m watching them stop asking permission to obey God. Purpose is waking me up like an alarm clock I can’t snooze and I wouldn’t even want to!! Glory!
Furthermore! My body isn’t the enemy anymore.
I used to live like my feelings were suspicious and my desires were dangerous.
But when I started letting Jesus disciple my mind, body, and spirit, I stopped treating my womanhood like a problem to manage.
I started listening.
I started discerning.
I started living from peace instead of panic.
And something in me softened… not into weakness, but into safety.
Like my nervous system finally got the memo: we’re not in danger for being alive!!! Whew!
That’s why I created House of Women.
Because I am on a mission to set 10,000 women free to make Spirit drenched decisions that honor God, their bodies, their ministry, their love lives, and themselves without guilt spirals, people-pleasing, or shame-based religion running the show.
This is for the woman who’s tired of second-guessing herself.

Have You Met Shanique?
A little while ago, a woman named Shanique walked into this house.
On paper? She was that woman.
Teacher. Pastor’s wife. Mother. Excellence on legs.
The kind of woman who shows up early, stays late, serves well, smiles through it… and still goes home feeling like she’s failing God somehow.
Because behind the polish was paralysis.
Because she didn’t need another sermon.
She had plenty of sermons.
Shoot, she preaches sermons!
What she needed was permission.
Permission to stop performing holiness and start pursuing wholeness.
She came in with a polished voice and a tired heart. And within the first week, the truth finally got named:
“You’ve been performing for approval… and calling it faith.”
And baby, that sentence cracked her open.
She told me, “I didn’t realize how much I was performing until you called it what it was—survival.”
Because that’s what shame-based religion trains you to do: survive… and look saved while you’re doing it.
Week by week, Shanique started trading fear for freedom. Not in theory, in real life.
She started noticing the old loop show up: clarity → fear → delay → guilt → repeat.
And instead of obeying the loop, she practiced something new.
Her new sentence became:
“I don’t need flawless to be fruitful.”
Then we introduced a framework to help her stop abandoning herself: boundaries, instincts, and needs.
And she said out loud what she had been treating like a selfish secret:
“I need security. I need support. I need faith in God and in myself.”
And then the breakthrough happened in the most ordinary, shameless way.
She started asking.
For help. For time. For rest. For support. For what she actually needed.
And her world responded. Her husband started checking in, “Do you need anything, babe?”
Not because he magically changed overnight—because her voice changed, and her life had to adjust to the new frequency.
She declared it like a doctrine:
Help is actually okay. MORE than okay!
By the end, Shanique didn’t lose her excellence. She purified it.
She went from performing for worth… to producing from worth.
She began scheduling personal days. Claiming Sabbath-at-home weekends. Curating a wardrobe that fits her new rhythm of rest and radiance. Even her classroom shifted...less yelling, more calm authority.
She said, “I’m no longer the teacher who performs. I’m the woman who commands peace.”
And in her own words, she’ll tell you exactly what this house does:
“For a long time there was a struggle between what I was taught in church about who I was supposed to be… and what felt natural for me. Now that I’m a member of the House of Women… I have verbiage to name the discord… and I feel completely confident to be myself and move toward God’s purpose for my life.”
